Clara Olachea is the Billing/Office Manager for Moreno Valley Clinica Medica. Her career path in healthcare began in 2008 at the age of 21. She was in the process of completing her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration at the University of California, Riverside when she was hired as a part-time medical biller and coder at Moreno Valley Clinica Medica Familiar. Being part of and serving in the Healthcare sector has been a tradition in her maternal family for three generations. Hence, once she received her bachelor’s degree, it was an easy choice for her to continue in this tradition with Moreno Valley Clinica Medica Familiar. Having the opportunity to serve in and contribute to our communities’ healthcare needs is an honor and a privilege for Clara. Since joining Moreno Valley Clinica Medica Familiar, she has learned about every aspect of operating a Primary Care/General Medicine Clinic. On the way, she has earned her Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credentials through the organization AAPC. Her responsibilities now include Provider Credentialing, Administration, Billing, Coding, Contracting, Human Resources’ duties, Administrative Point of Contact, Compliance, Co-Management, and assisting colleagues and patients in whatever healthcare needs are within her power to take
care of.
